Low Carb Greek Style Hot Dog in Lettuce "Bun" with Greek Yogurt and Tahini Sauce

Yum

These fun low carb lettuce "bun" hot dogs that are styled with some great Greek flavors and a cool yogurt and tahini sauce make a fast and fun dinner.

My family has been craving Greek food recently after we recently ate some great gyros.  I didn't have anything to make gyros, but I did have some hot dogs in my fridge.  I made these for dinner tonight and they were a big hit.

I love them because they are cool, refreshing and low-carb.  I was only in front of the stove for a few minutes and the rest was having fun assembling these low-carb lettuce dogs.

The sauce also makes a great dip with veggies.  So definitely make some even if you don't like hot dogs.   Remember you can pick your favorite kind of hot dog so if you like tofu dogs... enjoy a vegetarian version.  Turkey, pork, all beef or chicken... what ever you fancy is okay with this meal.

I can't wait to make more low-carb "bunless" lettuce meals this summer.
