Curry and Comfort's Weekly Sunday Summary 3/16/15 thru 3/22/15

 Happy Sunday Everyone!

We officially began the season on Spring this past week.  Unfortunately, mother nature was not cooperating with us and we had snow.  That's right, snow!  My poor little flowers that had taken all their might to sprout out of the cold hard ground got pummeled by freezing cold snow.

Luckily, the next day we had 60 degree weather so it all made up for it.  My flowers are still not looking all that happy, but hopefully they will survive.  I also see the daffodils starting to make their way out of the ground.  I love to see an ocean of daffodils in spring.  It truly makes me happy.

Other than the crazy weather we have had, we also had a fun week of birthdays, cake, St. Paddy's Day celebrations and a lot of green food.   Have a great week everyone!

Here is my week in review...

Curry and Comfort's Weekly Sunday Summary 3/9/15 thru 3/15/15

 Happy Sunday Everyone!

Today is the Ides of March.  So all of you Julius Caesar fans out there... beware of your Brutus.  We are also mid-way through the month of March and five days from spring.

The kids finally had their first full week of school since mid-December.  That's right... we finally had a week without a snow or ice storm.   It was so nice to get back to a normal week without constantly being glued to the weather channel and worrying about freezing temperatures.

I think spring has finally sprung.  I was walking out my door to pick up the kids from school when I looked down and saw these beautiful little crocuses popping out from the ground.  What a thrill.  I can't wait to see the daffodils and the tulips next.

This week has also been full of birthday cake.  I made two birthday cakes already and I have one more to go this week.  Did you know that yesterday was a very special day too.  It was Pi day.  Yesterday's date was 3.1415 which is Pi.  So I hoped you had a big piece of pie on Pi day. :)

Okay, let's talk about my week of food.   Everything was fun to make and eat this week.  If you are looking for a quick chocolate chip cookie, definitely check out the mug cookie that's done in 1 minute.  I loved the potato dishes this week, especially the roasted potato salad.  I can't wait to make that again.

Have a great week and enjoy my week in review...
