Deviled Ham Sandwiches

Have you ever heard of a show called White Collar? It's basically a story about a con man that helps a FBI agent catch criminals so he can stay out of prison. The FBI agent, Peter, loves to eat Deviled Ham Sandwiches on stakeouts. Yes... everything comes back to food for me.  I have never bought the canned deviled ham so I decided why not make own.  This deviled ham basically raids your condiment shelf in the fridge. I had to figure out how to make it "devilish" so I called upon my favorite spicy condiment... Sriracha!  I must say it provided the perfect amount of heat. My daughter and husband really loved the sandwiches.  Now I must admit for the sake of the picture I used a fancy little onion roll, but I recommend regular sandwich bread for this spread instead. It's a delicate spread and you want a soft bread to compliment it.  I think these sandwiches would make great tea sandwiches.  So thanks to White Collar and the character of Peter for introducing me to this great little sandwich idea.  I may not go on any real stakeouts to eat this sandwich, but I will sure watch stakeouts on TV and eat them.

1/2 pound of deli ham
2-3Tbs of chopped onion
1-2 Tbs of chopped celery
1 green chili seeded
2 Tbs of mild red bell pepper
1 Tbs of pickle relish
2 Tbs of mayonnaise
1 Tbs of Dijon Mustard
1 Tbs of Yellow Mustard
1 Tbs of Sriracha
1/4 tsp of garlic powder
1 Tbs of Worcestershire Sauce
Salt and Black Pepper to taste

Throw all ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth and spreadable.  Spread on sandwich bread. Enjoy.

Note: You can also spread this as a filling for a grill cheese sandwich.
