Happy Sunday Everyone!
This week was mostly about the journey I took with my mother to make a traditional Sri Lankan Christmas Cake. I had a serious work out stirring that batter for sure. I am so proud that we were able to make some of our own ingredients.
My mother has the cake all locked up for safekeeping until Christmas Day because she knows that all the little elves in our family might want to sneak a piece here and there to enjoy.
Now, it's time to get down to some serious Christmas baking. We already had a cookie party last week for the kids to enjoy, but it's time to do some baking for the blog. The only problem is I still have shopping to do, wrapping to do and Christmas cards to send out. Christmas is the season of giving... so I better get to it!
