Who knew??? They look wonderful and who doesn't like fudgy and rich?! =o)
ReplyDeleteHi Erin, I was just as surprised with how the sour cream and brownies worked together. My hubby and sister both said these were their favorite brownies. I guess I have no excuse to stock up on sour cream now. lol. : ) Thanks for stopping by my blog. Ramona
ReplyDeleteYum, they look and sound delicious!
ReplyDeleteAwesome brownies! Bet the sour cream swirl gave a nice tang to contrast with the sweet chocolate.
ReplyDeleteLeslie- Thanks for checking out the brownies on my site. I hope you try them and enjoy. : )
ReplyDeleteAdriana- I think I got too excited with all the swirling and I swirled it too much because I muted the sour cream contrast. Next time I will just swirl it a little and the contrast will be more pronounced. Thanks for checking out the recipe. : )
ReplyDelete*Drools* I want one RIGHT NOW!! They look incredible! So moist and fudgy...

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to try this recipe! Always wanted to try a boxed mix with sour cream but never sure if it was a substitute for the oil. Will follow directions on box and add the cup of sour cream. Sounds incredibly easy. Don't know why I was so skiddish!!

ReplyDeleteMine were yummy, except they shrank up and were a bit rubbery. I think I would leave the sour cream out of the main batter next time. Any other suggestions? Did I bake too long? Hmmm...
