Happy Sunday Everyone!
So here we are a few days into October all ready. My kids are so excited about Halloween at the end of the month. Every time we go into a grocery store or any store for that matter we are bombarded with bags and bags of candy for sale. I can truthfully say that it does not make shopping easier when I hear "can we get..." down every aisle. The kids are big enough now that they also get excited about decorating the house up for Halloween and picking out what they are going to wear to go trick or treating. These days we are having a lot of Halloween themed conversations at the dinner table... on the walk home... in the car. Well, you get my point.
In the midst of all the Halloween hoopla, my daughter's birthday and my mother's birthday both fall. So I have my two favorite ladies' birthdays to think about this month and try to make special. October will be definitely busy.
I also have to get on the ball and start doing some fall dishes. I think I still have some end of summer dishes to post about... but apples and pumpkins are totally in my future.
