Here we are in December... less than 25 days until Christmas.... Woohoo! I love this time of year. Singing Christmas songs, watching all the classic Christmas movies and my favorite childhood children's cartoons with my kids... it's almost magical.
Our stockings are hung, the tree is decorated and all the presents are almost all ready for the wrapping marathon I usually do on the 24th of

I try not to become a Christmas cynic or a stressed out "gotta have everything perfect hostess." Having children has taught me to love the simple joys and experience the magic of the season through their eyes. It makes me almost giddy with excitement.
I am really looking forward to this coming week because I am participating in a Christmas themed blog hop where several of my foodie friends and I will have sweet treats to share with a daily theme. So make sure you drop by everyday (starting tomorrow, Monday the 3rd of December) to check it out.
Okay let's get ready to celebrate the joy of the season... but before we do here's my week in review....

Happy Sunday Ramona. I love that you do these roundups because I can easily see what I missed. So many delicious recipes.
ReplyDeleteI took the Christmas decorations out but haven't put them up yet. I am kind of hoping the Christmas fairy will come and do it for me.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are having as delicious weekend as you did the week! I have to say, the meatballs were my favorite!
ReplyDeletevery well written article
ReplyDeleteYou had a week full of scrumptious food! When our 5 kids were young, I adored this season. Enjoy it. Now they are all grown up and they ask for things like Ipads and all the fun and suspense of the season is gone and it is not as much fun.
ReplyDeleteAs always, everything looks wonderful. I would not mind biting into a dozen of those meatballs!!
ReplyDeleteMy tree isn't up and the decorations aren't either. However, I did start making cookie dough. Still loving your weekly recaps. Wishing you a productive week.
