Curry and Comfort's Weekly Sunday Summary 10/27/14 thru 11/2/14

Yum

Happy Sunday Everyone!

The clocks officially changed last night and we did our annual "fall back" one hour.  So that means I got an extra hour of sleep.  Yay!  That also means that it will get dark one hour earlier today.  Boo!   I always get a little sad when it gets dark at 5:30PM.  That extra hour of daylight does a lot to keep me more active and happy.  The extra hour of daylight also gives me more time to run errands and not want to just snuggle up and stay under the covers.

Of course since the clocks changed it won't be dark until 7:30AM any more either.  That is also hard on me since I don't use an alarm clock to get up.  My internal clock always wakes me up at 6AM, but with the darkness it's been slipping a bit.  Now I am sure to wake up around 5AM in the morning for at least a couple of weeks until my internal clock adjusts to the time change.

Okay, Halloween is over.  Our house if full of lots of chocolate bars.  My husband begged me not to go out and buy the discounted "after Halloween" chocolates as well.  I think I will have to agree with him.  Too many chocolate... too much temptation.  I may have to come up with a few recipes to use these chocolate up and share with friends and family so we can get them away from us.

Now I am counting down to Thanksgiving.  I am so excited about.... Stuffing.  Yes, that's my favorite dish on Thanksgiving.  I am trying hard to do low carb these days, but it's hasn't been easy with all the comfort foods that the cool weather brings and all that Halloween candy around.  So I may have to try my best to make a low carb version of my favorite stuffing.  You see, my plate is 50% stuffing on Thanksgiving.   So I don't want to really stuff myself  with carbs from my favorite bread stuff.  I will start brainstorming right now about my new lower carb version of stuffing... so look for that to come in the next couple of weeks.

Until then, here is my week in review....
