Curry and Comfort's Weekly Sunday Summary 4/28/14 thru 5/4/14

Yum

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Sleep,  Yard Sales and Birthdays.

Sleep...do you ever have trouble getting a good night's sleep? I certainly do. I have been waking up at 2-3am the last few nights and I just can't go back to sleep.  It's weird to wake up when the world is mostly sleeping.  The house is so quiet. What do you do when you can't sleep?  I clean.

Yard Sales... Yesterday I had a small yard sale. I sold mostly toys my kids have outgrown and small household items. I always tell myself that I am never putting myself through a garage/yard sale again. You do so much to prepare and then you sit and get "judged" as people drive by looking to see if you have anything they want.  The worst part was I had a person ask me what they could have for free.  They kept asking me can I have this for free... that for free.  When did that become part of yard sale bargaining?  Now I'm a kindhearted person and if I thought they needed something and had no money...I would just give it to them.  What ticked me off was they drove up in a very nice car...looked pretty well off and they just wanted free stuff. Urgh.   Like my husband told me the sign says yard Sale not Yard Free.

Birthdays... MINE!  Yay!  My birthday is only a few days away and I'm so excited. Birthdays always make me feel like a kid at heart.  Not matter how old I get (and I'm middle aged)... I love birthdays.

Here's my week in review:

  1. My life is all about waking up at 3am. It stinks. If you figure it out you should let me know :)
