I asked the kids to come up with a recipe they wanted to do with hot dogs for hot dog week and this is their idea. We made something similar to this for the Super Bowl called Pigs in Blankets and they loved them. This time around they didn't want little mini pigs... they wanted the whole dog and they wanted cheese. We made these crescents and simply ate them with ketchup and mustard for dipping.

Ingredients:
Your favorite hot dog
Crescent dough in a tube
Cheddar cheese as needed
Directions:

Roll crescents up with hot dogs then top with a little more cheese. Bake according to crescent package directions (about 20 minutes) until golden brown. Serve with dipping sauces like ketchup and mustard. Enjoy.

My boys love these, but I've never added cheese. Duh, what a terrific idea!!!
ReplyDeleteI am definitely going to try this with my grandsons. I don't think that they have ever had pigs in a blanket and the definitely haven't had them with cheese. I'm with Lizzy--duh, why haven't I ever thought to put cheese with them?
ReplyDeleteThey look lovely...
ReplyDeleteCan't wait until Gabbi gets back so I can make them for her!
ReplyDeleteThumbs up for this site. It is good to have a website and innovation in every business. I don’t know why other business doesn't want to afford this process. 유로88

There is noticeably a bundle to know about this. I assume you made certain nice points in features also.
