Happy Sunday Everyone!
It's March already! The year is just chugging along and two months have gone by in a blink of an eye. Then again, I have been hibernating most of it since we've had nothing but snow and freezing temperatures for the last 60 days. I think they are calling for snow again tonight. Urgh!
At least there is a light at the end of the tunnel because spring officially makes it's way into our lives this month and I can't wait to hear the birds chirping and see the flowers growing. Driving around all I see is mounds of snow right now and I feel like I live on the North Pole.
Of course wearing all those bulky clothes and big coats have helped me hide the fact I've been over indulging in too much comfort food. I need to really get back on my healthy eating bandwagon and go back to my 80/20 rule. The rule is to eat healthy 80% of the time and have my treats 20% of the time. These days it's more like 55/45 rule. Yikes!
I am also thinking about getting a Fitbit fitness band ... anyone have one out there and can give me some feedback? My biggest concern is that it will fall off my wrist and that's a lot of money to lose so easily. With all the snow outside, getting 10,000 steps (5 miles) is almost impossible unless I do it all in my house. Yes.. I've tried that and I feel like a real goof-ball. LOL! But walking is such good exercise and it keeps me eating better too.
