Brrrr.... it's been cold outside lately. My kids asked me for some hot chocolate so I decided to have some fun with it by adding some spiced flavors. This was some rich and delicious hot chocolate that had my kids giving me high-fives. Of course that can also be for all the mini marshmallows I added too.
Ingredients:
2 cups milk (I used 2%... but whole is fine)
1/3 cup chocolate chips (I used semi-sweet or you can use milk chocolate or dark chocolate)
1 cinnamon stick
2 cloves
2 green cardamoms pods
sugar (if needed... I used no sugar)
garnish (optional): marshmallows

Hot chocolate makes me so happy. I haven't used cardamom pods before nor do I think I have had cardamom and chocolate together. I will be checking this out soon.
