Easy S'more Brownies (Throwback Thursday)

Yum

2011 photo of brownie
When I started doing my Throwback Thursdays this is one of the recipes I was so eager to fix.  I thought this was a good photo back in my early days of food photography because it wasn't blurry and blasted with a flash.  I hope you agree that I've come a long way.....

In 8-2011 I wrote: Summertime is such a fun time for kids.  Their days are full of playing outside, going to the pool and of course no school! Keeping my kids entertained and busy (and out of trouble) is my mission most days.  So we decided to make brownies.  Of course my daughter saw marshmallows in the pantry and insisted they go on top.  Hmmm... brownies with marshmallow...S'more brownies it was then.  These fun and super easy brownies (made with a lot of help from the grocery store) were a big hit and definitely were a  nice reward after a day of keeping out of trouble.

Ingredients:
1 box brownie mix  and ingredients per package instructions
**or substitute your favorite brownie recipe
5-6 graham crackers crushed
3-4 cups of mini marshmallows
1 1/2 cup of chocolate chips

Directions:
Prepare the brownie per the package instructions.  Pour into a well greased baking pan.  Top with some crushed graham crackers.  Then top with the cup of chocolate chips and finish off with the mini marshmallows.

Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees in the middle of the oven until brownie is set.  If you want to "toast" your marshmallows some more you can move the marshmallows closer to the top rack of the oven for the last few minutes of baking.
Serve and Enjoy.

  13. Cool that you're redoing some of your older posts. I also look back and see that my photos have improved a lot. I'm not what you would call a great photographer in any case. My DH is, but he is so impatient, I'd rather take my own food photos. Haha!! Have a great rest of the week, Ramona! :)
