Grocery shopping in the summer means my kids are tagging along. It always takes a bit longer with the two of them because they want to look at everything. We recently went to Costco and my son saw a big box of mangoes. He loves mangoes. It wasn't on my list, but the price was great (each one costing less than $1) so I had buy it. I was planning on buying strawberries for a dessert (will post soon) so my daughter asked to make a smoothie with strawberry and mango. The light bulb when off in my head.. sounds like a plan. I decided to buy a big bag of frozen strawberries instead. Frozen strawberries make the perfect addition to a smoothie since they act as ice cubes to the smoothie as well. So my kids get credited with this coming up with the flavors of this smoothie. They stood by as I put it all together and they were the official task testers too. Now that's one chore I don't have to ask them twice to do. :)

1-2 cups tropical fruit juice (like Splash)
