Breakfast Parfaits

Yum
School mornings are always a rush to get kids ready and out the door.  Sometimes finding a breakfast that both my kids can eat quickly and happily is difficult.   I  started making these fun and pretty breakfast parfaits for them and they were a hit.  I could feel good about the healthy fruits and yogurt they were getting and they acted like I was giving them dessert for breakfast.  As long as they eat it happily, I'll keep it a secret that it's good for them.

Ingredients:
  • Fresh fruit  ex: (strawberries and bananas)
  • fruit flavored yogurt
  • rice cereal
Directions:
Cut fruit and layer as desired.  Serve immediately. Enjoy.

  1. I like yogurt only when there is a bit of crunch to it. I only normally have some if there is granola on hand but rice cereal would do the trick and is so much easier to have on hand on a regular basis.
