Candy Cane Hearts

Yum
Okay.. this is the last of my candy cane craziness. :)  I had to show off one more easy and cute way to use up those candy canes with these Candy Cane Hearts.   There is really no recipe, just a quick method with some candy canes and melted white chocolate.  I made these with my daughter and my mother and it was fun for all three generations. :)   I hope your Christmas holiday is filled with lots of love and they are extra sweet.  I know if you make these Candy Cane Hearts, you will be guaranteed the sweet part. :)

Ingredients:
Candy canes (any size)
Melted white chocolate

Directions:
Melt white chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave (careful not to burn).  On wax paper, form heart shapes with candy canes and spoon white chocolate inside the heart. Sprinkle with some crushed candy canes.  Allow to set for 15 minutes. Gently lift hearts off the the wax paper and serve.  Enjoy.

This would be a great idea to carry over to Valentines day if you have extra candy leftover :)
